What is Camp BIG?

It’s a camp … for Adults.

Remember when you were a kid and you were sent to summer camp? Well, now you can go back again! Only now, no one will tell you what you can or can’t do, the time for “lights out” is your call … and there’s alcohol. You can once again participate in field games, rock climbing, ziplines, camp fires, S’mores, swimming in the lake and much more!

Who can attend Camp BIG?

Camp BIG is open to any adult age 21 and over. Whether you are single or married, this is a great place to be.

When is Camp BIG?

We are offering two sessions this year August 22nd-26th, 2019 and September 12th – 16th, 2019

What airports can I fly into?

You can fly into three airports:

Asheville Regional Airport 61 Terminal Dr. #1, Fletcher, NC 28732 (1 hour and 55 minute drive)

What Does it Cost to Go to Camp BIG & Small?

The all-inclusive package price is $550 per Camper.  It includes accommodations, all meals, open wine and beer bar, activities, and nightly entertainment.  You can stay at the lodge or Meadows Cabin in a private room for an upcharge. 

What Can We Expect?

Fun every day, dine on great food, go on outings, enjoy sing-a-longs by the campfire, dance at the hoedown and breathe that great mountain air!

When is Arrival Time at Camp?

We welcome all Campers to register at 3 PM EST on the first day. If you arrive late, don’t worry, we will wait for you!

What is Camp Big & Small Like When I Get There?

You can do as much or as little as you want. Want to just relax? Then snuggle in one of our pod Hammocks. Are you a thrill-seeker? Then try one of our three ziplines. Looking for adventure? Try on one of the many hiking paths in the 150-acre camp. In the mood to explore? Join our Get-A-Ways to the many Wineries, River Rafting, or to Grandfather Mountain where you can see Bears, Bald Eagles, and Panthers. And you know what? If you want to laze around, stroll through the main areas, chill by the lake—so be it! Whatever makes you happy is what we want you to do. There is something for everyone!

What Beverages Will be Offered?

We will be serving water, coffee, juice for all. Beer and wine for Adults Only.

Where Do We Sleep?

All Kids will be assigned a cabin where they will sleep in their own bunk bed. Parents can choose to sleep in a cabin and have a shared room with their Family or have a private room in the Lodge or Meadow Cabin. There is no air conditioning, because with the beautiful breeze constantly blowing through, who needs it! Still worried? No problem! You’re welcome to bring a fan!

Will I be Able to Connect With Other Campers Prior to Camp?

YES! We have a Facebook Page! It’s a great way to get to know other campers, ask questions, get the latest information and arrange car pool or ride shares!

What are the Dining Options?

Camp Big offers three delicious meals a day with themed dinners.  Friday is Southern Style Living with such dishes as Fried Chicken, Mountain Trout, and Brunswick Stew.  On Saturday, we have our 70's Night with Italian Goodies such as Chicken Marsala, Pasta and dessert treats such as Yodels, Laffy Taffy, Pop Rocks, and more! And Let's not forget Sunday our BBQ night with Chicken, Pork, and Ribs, and, of course, you can always make your own S'mores by the campfire.  Yum!!

Is There Wi-Fi? Cell Service?

Yes, we have both but WiFi is not in all areas of the Camp. We encourage you to take tons of photos and post them on your Facebook and Instagram so everyone can see how much fun you are having!

What if I Cancel?  

If you cancel 30 days prior to your session start date, you will receive your full session fee paid minus a the $100.00 deposit.  Cancellations made less than 30 days, you will receive 50% of your session fee paid plus a handling charge and cancellations made less than ten days will forfeit their entire session fee paid.

What Can’t I Bring to Camp BIG & Small?

Any kind of weapon, pets, illegal drugs and if you are not sure, just send an email and ask us. No bad attitudes please!
